The Rays of Joy Labyrinth has been created with 50 hand-poured patio blocks embedded with leaves, words
like "Joy" and "Peace," and designs made from broken plates, glass globs, semi-precious stones and even a red glass
cake plate. The center piece is in the shape of a door to symbolize entering your Inner Sanctuary. It is decorated with
a reall brass door handle plus glass globs and semi-precious stones that sparkle in the sunlight.
Thanks to the help of Wayne Nelson and his handy cement mixer, we turned out 10 to 15 blocks at a time over
a period of a couple of months. Jim Price helped with a few designs, adding his artistic abilities. The rest I created by
being inspired in the moment. It is a work of art that will uplift your spirit. See the pictures below.
Carol Caldwell paused on the "Yin/Yang" block, saying that it pushed and pulled her into balance, while
Linda Pietrzak did not feel much of anything at all the first time through, but on the second walk, she was amazed at
the insights she received. One man was in tears after the walk; he had made closure with his deceased father.
I walk the Labyrinth each day and always find that it not only relaxes me, but it balances and energies
me, answering questions to puzzles that I cannot seem to unravel by myself.
Labyrinths are sprouting up all throughout the world as people realize their potential for gaining inner
peace and spiritual wisdom.
I plan to create another Labyrinth while I am in Florida. I will keep you updated here with pictures and
comments.
